Living in Atlanta I am fortunate enough to see & hear the stars of tomorrow long before the rest of the world. Several years ago I heard a new track called "Haterz Everywhere" one day on the radio & I couldn't get enough of it! Now whenever I hear a Dirty South track, the Remixer in me always imagines what the song would sound like as a double-time Booty Bass track, so when I found an Acapella for the track I immediately started on a mix! Many of the songs I Remix never make it above the Mason-Dixon line or anywhere out West. These songs become ATL classics or Regional hits throughout the South but this one seemed different. I heard an earlier single of his called "Cloud 9" that was equally as intoxicating, so I knew this kid was on something different.
I can recall opening several sets with my "Haterz Everywhere Booty Mix" while touring the Southeast & the crowds loved it! As new B.O.B Mixtapes were released, I began to realize how talented this kid from Decatur really was. He was drawing comparisons to another ATLien who had seemed to win over the hearts of the world, Andre 3000 from Outkast. Let it be known that B.O.B has a unique voice & is a talented musician with many years ahead of him in this industry!
