I linked up with my Vegas homie KoKo & Remixed the amazing track Elastic Heart by Sia. I've literally been playing the original version of this song in my set for a year & a half. The track recently got attention after the video came out back in January. Shortly after that, they released the Acapella & we jumped on the chance to put our twist on it. We Remixed this one from the ground up using just the original vocals & a piece of the beat during the build. DARK HORSE DJ KONTROL REMIX
A friend of mine played this for me awhile back when Katy Perry's latest album first came out & surprisingly I actually liked it. Apparently the rest of the world does too because it is currently the #1 song in the country. Since most producers are probably going to do trap & house remixes to this one I decided to bump up the tempo to 95 BPM & give it that twerk feel. I'm real happy with how this one turned out. I used some elements from the original but tried to take it in a different direction. Check it out & let me know what you think:

This year I'll be bringing in 2014 out in Vegas @ Tryst with my homie Lil Jon & as always he's got something for the DJs around the world.
